Took this to Clingmans Dome and it held up beautifully on the rocky overlook. The fabric feels tough enough for real trails, yet it packed down surprisingly light for the hike up.
Packed it down small enough to strap to my daypack for the Clingmans Dome trail, and it handled the rocky summit without a tear. The fabric feels tougher than a regular blanket, and it kept the damp ground from soaking through while we sat for sunset.
We took this hiking up to Rainbow Falls and it held up great on the rocky trail, plus it packs down small enough to clip to my daypack. The outer fabric feels sturdy without being stiff, and it kept us warm during a breezy picnic at the summit.
