I've been using it to clip my water bottle to my backpack and it holds securely without any wobble. The wiregate is a breeze to operate even with one hand, which is great when I'm hiking.
The wiregate opens smoothly with one hand, which is perfect when I'm juggling a water bottle and trying to clip my blanket to a chair. It's small enough to hook onto a belt loop but still holds firm.
